Attendance to this mindfulness retreat will enable you to disconnect from your daily routines and to reconnect with yourself.
The benefits of mindfulness according to research:
Among its theorised benefits are self-control, objectivity, affect tolerance, enhanced flexibility, equanimity, improved concentration and mental clarity, emotional intelligence and the ability to relate to others and to one self with kindness, acceptance and compassion (Van Dam et al., 2017).Mindfulness benefits include lowering stress levels, reducing harmful ruminating, and protecting against depression and anxiety (Hofmann et al., 2010). Research even suggests that mindfulness can help people to cope better with rejection and social isolation (Hofmann et al., 2010). Mindfulness optimises well-being and job performance, managing feelings triggered by the extremes of everyday life (Carmody & Baer, 2007).
